IWLA • Cortland Chapter

The Cortland Chapter, chartered in 1946, continues to maintain an eighty acre property and a handicapped accessible clubhouse. Our club members have year round full use of the facilities at their convenience. Our facilities are used by civic groups, school clubs, local scouts and supporters.

Our archery program, known as the Cortland Field Archers, maintains a practice range, a field archery course and a 3-D course designed for everyone from beginner to the championship level archer.

Our 3-D tournaments each summer provide competitive and recreation enjoyment for the entire family. Our chapter maintains a firearms pavilion and shooting range for members, guests and safety course participant's use.

If you would enjoy outdoor recreation and would like to share your passion for protecting the outdoors, contact us and we will provide a tour of our chapter facilities.

Membership

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES

$85.00
Family, a household consisting of up to two adults and any member of the household under the age of eighteen.

Individual

$30.00
Student, ages 18-21 or still an undergraduate student.

Youth, age 17 and under

All members whose dues are paid shall be deemed as active members.
Only active members shall be eligible to hold office, vote at meetings or otherwise enjoy the privilege of this organization.
All applicants applying for membership should be sponsored by an active member, but if an applicant doesn't know any active member, all they need to do is contact the person listed on the contact us page, and inform that member they would like to submit an application at the next monthly meeting.
Applicable dues must be submitted with application. (Refundable, if not accepted).
Applicant or sponsor must be present for a potential new member's name to be voted on at a monthly meeting.

TARGET SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM

The Cortland Chapter of the Izaak Walton League seeks your support in maintaining Cortland County's premier 3-D archery range. The thirty (30) target range, located at 530 State Route 41A, in Homer, is sponsored by local businesses who help with the purchase of quality targets that are used for club events and by a number of community based groups who visit the club facilities annually.

For just a $100 sponsorship, any local business can receive the following:

• A Laminated Promotional Sign at the Practice Range
• A Laminated Promotional Sign on a course target
• 2 Passes to Each of our 3-D shoots
• FREE ACCESS to our course (Wednesday Nights, May - September)
